I’ve had plenty of fish and chips, sometimes wrapped in newspapers as a college kid in England, and this was incredible. Crisp. Delicious. Great chips, don’t judge me too harshly for the ketchup. Great music. The Clash played twice, and great brews to bring and share. It’s a walk back to memory lane to Newcastle in the early 90s. Service was fantastic. Highly personable!

This place was such a gem! The food was absolutely amazing and I loved it so much! I did not get the fish and chips because I don't like fish lol, but the chicken and chips were fantastic! It was huge pieces of boneless meat like chicken tenders. My friend did the fish and chips and she loved it. The tea choices were fantastic too! Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful dining experience. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious. The bangers and mash made me feel like I was eating my British mother-in-law's cooking.

The Disco Fries were delicious, heavy beef broth with hints of Curry cover perfectly seasoned and crispy fries. The Earl Grey with Cream was delicious, some of the best Earl Grey I've had. The Burger was delicious, I asked for it a bit under than what I usually get, but it was still delicious. And the freshly brined Corned Beef was phenomenal with the beer cheddar. The side salad had home made cole slaw, which was a nice touch. My wife offered me one of her fish tenders, and it was absolutely delicious, super crispy and the batter was perfect. I wasn't sure what to expect with the new ownership, but they hit it out of the park.

Loved the fish and chips. We had the cod and haddock. Both were very good. Server was very friendly. We will be back again.

First time visiting!! Very nice spot for a good bite!! Great service!! Benny was very friendly and attentive!! We started off with sausage roll and it was perfect!! I enjoyed the steak and kidney pie with chips. The pastry was crispy on top and soft inside! The steak and kidney were very tender!! Sooo tasty!! My hubby had the fish and chips. Very flaky meat with a great crunchy batter!! Delicious!! The chips were crunchy outside and tender inside!! We had the sticky toffee pudding to finish the meal!!! Oh my how wonderful!!!! Irn Bru to drink hit the spot!! Very reasonably priced!!

5 stars across the board. Hands down the best fish & chips my friend and I have ever had. The fish was not greasy at all, crispy and flaky. The chips are amazing. The mushy peas were so flavorful. We will be back asap!

Amazing! Absolutely loved the Scotch eggs and the tangy pickled veggies jam(?) Served with them. Most light and flakey fish and chips and just loved the chip shop sarnie. Can't wait to return for the steak and kidney pie!! Can tell they take their tea seriously..Loved their unsweetened iced tea as well!!
